What brand of hookah shisha produces the most smoke on average? I’m also interested in which brands have a better flavor, but my main focus is more smoke. Also, what are some runner up brands in terms of smoke thickness?

Most brands that contain Glycerin will put out more smoke. I don’t know what’s in it that makes it smoke so much.

I just tried this out at a local restaurant. I have never smoked before, but I like shisha hookah. I see they are on Ebay, but it looks like it’s just the hookahs and the molasses? What about the tobacco? Also, I know they say the hookah is as bad as smoking a cigarette. Is this true?

Well let’s cover a few things first:

A lot of people use the term molasses. Really they mean shisha (tobacco). Several brands use molasses as a binding agent for the flavor, some use honey or Glycerin, or a combination of any of the 3.

Also, I wouldn’t buy a hookah off of eBay until you are more familiar with brands and the community. A majority of them on eBay are Chinese junk, and not worth smoking.
