I know a lot of moms smoke cigarettes while nursing… but is hookah smoking ok? My baby is one month old. I only do it like once a day. And when I say hookah I mean “just” hookah, nothing illegal… just the flavored sticky stuff you can buy in most smoke shops.

While smoking anything while you’re breast feeding isn’t advisable, I was told by a nutritionist that a smoking woman’s breast milk is still better for the baby than formula is. Note: I’m not bashing FF here as I’m FFing for personal reasons. Just wanted to let you know.

Do you know if they sell hookahs at the Cabo San Lucas street market? I’m going and want to get one! lol

Hola. You can still find lots of smoking devices in all the shops there. But I have yet to see a hookah anywhere though! Mexicans aren’t up on their hookahs, I guess. So, go online, and get yourself a mini hookah before you go. They’re small, light, and portable, so it will easily fit in your suitcase – perfect to travel with. You’d better bring all your smoking accessories, too, just in case.

This is my review of layalina pear. It’s a choppy cut with a lot of stems, because it’s a cheap flavored tobacco. It has no aroma – none. It’s really a  juicy shisha. The bowl been going for about five minutes. Although it gives decent clouds, THERE IS NO FLAVOR!!! There is no taste. I wanted it to have a pear taste, but it doesn’t. It’s really a downer. I give it 0 out of 5. Since this was given to me, I’m just going to throw it away. Only buy this if you want to have great clouds to do tricks with.

So, here is the deal, I used to love to hookah smoking, but in my older age it really screws with my lungs. So I was wondering, is there an alternative way to get the fruity flavors without the smoke that messes with my lungs? Sadly, even the smallest amount  is effecting my lungs; I cough and hack and feel sick for the following 3 days or so, that’s why I was wondering the alternatives

Buy nicotine-free shisha and just hold the smoke in your mouth without breathing it into your lungs. Of course it won’t be completely harmless, but it won’t be addictive, and most of it won’t be going into your lungs, so you won’t have to worry as much about that.

How is the flavor of Starbuzz Exotic Code 69 for hookah? Is it good?

It tastes like Passionfruit and Sugar Candy, so it’s definitely too sweet for me. And I personally like the al waha brand over starbuzz. It has more flavor and is more satisfying than the fruity, sugary shishas that are coming out on the market. Try one of them the next time you’re at your hookah store.

I agree. Exotic Code 69 is pretty good, but I’m not a huge SB fan either.

I am really disgusted with myself and cannot wait until I can look back and say that I am cigarette free! I do hang out at hookah bars, and although smoking cigarettes is not allowed inside, it is a hookah bar, and I do smoke hookah (flavored tobacco). Will this give me any side effects because I’m on the nicotine patch?

Yes it is safe to do…shisha contains minimal traces of nicotine and tar, making it impossible to “overdose”. Being around cigarettes might make you want to start up again, but smoking hookah shouldn’t have any effect that will make you want to start smoking cigarettes again.

This smells and tastes just like gummy worms or gummy bears! But it’s better for you because it doesn’t get all stuck in your teeth! My only complaint about the Mya mini hookah is that you can’t see through the dark base, so you can’t tell how much water’s in it. And I’ve modified the parts a bit. I’ve got a lot of shisha to try, but I’m going to smoke the Blueberry Muffin with the mini Mya. Does it smell great! Just opening the package smells like there are blueberry muffins in the oven!
