ULTRA Mini Alien Phunnel Hookah Bowl

As you guys know, Tangiers makes the best funnel hookah bowls on the market. For a limited time they made “mini” but stopped producing them for unknown reasons. With the current shortage of small Tangiers phunnel bowls and the demand yet nonexistence of “mini’s” I decided to make an ultra mini phunnel bowl for you. The ALIEN. This is not a made in China product, this is made locally and will be hand made locally, 1 at a time. The matierial used is not a cheap product like other funnel bowls out there. This is still a prototype but I hope to have them available within 10 days. If you’re like me you only smoke for 30-45 minuets and find yourself wasting alot of coals and shisha. Problem solved. I have to give credit to the inventor of the Tangiers Phunnel Bowl, Eric. He is designer of the phunnel bowl as we know it. I just decided to make a mini due to requests and Eric will not, for his own reasons. I spoke to him about this before I made this video out of respect for Eric and Tangiers. The good news is he is not going to strangle me, not yet anyways.

I have a hookah hose question?

everytime i smoke i get nasty black stuff in my mouth. I have put water in the end and swung it around and some of the black stuff came out but its still not fixed. does anybody know how to wash them.

Hoses break down into 3 categories. Nonwashable, Washable and Rustproof.

Nonwashable – Have a metal wire to keep the shape. Water in it will make it rust. These are typical hoses. Hookah hoses were traditionally made to last more than a year.

Washable – Have the same metal wire but they are wrapped in a coating to prolong rusting but they will rust. Mya Saray Hoses make these.

Rustproof – Have no metal and cannot rust. Nammor Hoses are the only one sold online.

Sounds like yours is a Nonwashable. Black stuff coming out, your hose is finished. Toss and get it a new one

I prefer rustproof. I have switched all my hoses to Nammors. They are completely rustproof.

Is there such thing as an electric hookah coal and, if so, where can I buy one?

Yes there is. And there is a reason they are hard to find. I bought one… then bought another one. Because the just don’t put out a lot of heat. That and with the extra wires coming down… I prefer real coal burns on my carpet over the electric coal ones.

But if you wanna try it for yourself here you go:

There is a huge variety that is available in smoking pipes category inclusive of both actual smoking hookahs and the decorative hookahs. As decorative accessories, hookahs have been a great rage amongst antique lovers. But those who cannot afford the true antiques, can also go in for reproductions or the modern versions. Some of popular types of smoking pipes are: water pipes, dry pipes, hookahs, chillums and bongsSmoking pipes come in a multitude of materials like glass, stone, brass, acrylic, ceramic, wood and metals. Glass pipes are the most beautiful, preferred and popular of the lot. Though the modern smoking pipes are more or less the same structure as the earlier times, but off late they have gone a bit bizarre with their designs. The flavor accentuating tools are now style accentuating tools also. With more and more eccentric designs being made available, smoking pipes are now a style statement for smokers. Apart from being a distinct style statement, antique and unique smoking accessories are collectibles. HOOKAHSTHE NEW TREND: Design & FlavorAmongst the kinds of smoking pipes, hookahs have recently become very popular in cafe’s and pubs. These hookahs are a major attraction in cafe’s and pubs and are a good crowd pullers. Hookahs are available in a number of flavors to subdue the flavor of tobacco. Some of the popular and commonly available flavors are : coke, cappuccino, mint, apricot, apple, double apple, pineapple, grape, rose, lichi, vanilla, fruit mix, peach, plum, kiwi.Hookahs bars, hookah lounges, hookah parlors – whatever you call them are soon catching up all over the world. Youngsters are the people who are turning to hookah smoking in a major way due to the royal style of smoking it. The blogger at thehukkalounge.org describes the four fundamental parts of a Hukka/Hookah:

Traditional hookah structure is a compilation of basic parts like water holder, a tube or a pipe extended from the water holder. Opium and hashish used to be the major ingredients traditionally. Hookahs were quite tall structures that had to be placed on the ground level for smoking. But the contemporary versions are experimenting with the sizes. We can now avail hookahs of all sizes. The hookahs meant for decorative purposes are ornated in royal colors and embellishments. They will add a royal look to your living space. There are special stores that deal only in hookahs. Home decor stores also put them up for sale, but for antique and decorative versions, the exclusive dealers would allow you more choice.

The 2.0 Hookahs

The 2.0 Hookahs – This hookah category is for the hi-tech of hookahs. We gathered here for you the highest quality and designed hookahs there is.The hookahs are the product of the newest hookah technology available. The hookahs are made of Aluminum. Fill the glass with cold water. The end of the pipe should be about 1cm under water. For cooler smoke you may add some ice cubes.

Turn the pipe with little pressure into the glass in order to assure the seals to be airtight.

Put the pot on the pipe.

Put the sieve over the tobacco. Then put the coal on the sieve with the rounded side downwards.

Put the tobacco into the pot and make sure not to block up the holes. You may suck on the hose to test if the tobacco is not too dense. Do not use too much tobacco because there should be still enough space for the sieve. Tobacco and coal may be purchased at your tobacco retailer. Coal with a 33 mm diameter fits best.

Now put the chimney on the pot.

Light on the coal. If possible use a jet-stream lighter, because it has a hooter flame.

CAUTION: sparks may occur and cause fire.

Wait for approximately 3 minutes until the coal has reached a higher temperature. Now you can suck on the mouthpeace. Blow fresh air from above on the coal if there is only little or no smoke.

Please note: the aluminium parts get very hot. Burn hazard! Do not touch them! Dropping embers may cause fire. The abuse of tobacco causes health injures and must be consumed by respecting the legal regulations
